The main key difference between the ANSI and ISO layouts exists in the left shift key and the Enter.

In ANSI keyboards, the left shift key is one large wide rectangular key, whilst the enter key follows suit.

In ISO Keyboards the Shift key is smaller whilst the enter key is a large upside-down L-shape.

Anything in English can be bought either backlit or non backlit, however any other languages can only be created using non backlit text.

Standard keycaps are keycaps which allow light to pass through the cap to illuminate the top legend of the keycap.

Pudding keycaps take
shine-through lighting a step further. These keycaps include translucent sidewalls,
allowing more light to bleed out from beneath the keys.

We use Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) for our keycaps because it
is a more superior material. PBT is more rigid than ABS so you can use PBT keycaps for a long period of time before they show any sign of deterioration.

PBT keycaps have a more matte look with a textured feel, whilst also not becoming greasy like ABS keycaps after long periods of time.

If you have ordered a custom design which has already been made, then we will be unable to cancel the order. However, if you have bought a standard/pudding keycap set and the set has not already been shipped, we will be happy to cancel your order and provide a full refund.

We use a top of the range UV printer to create your custom keycaps.

We expect the custom designs to last 1-2 years. To ensure durability, we clean the keycaps and apply an adhesive promoter before printing.

We also offer 6 months' warranty on all of our custom designs.

Yes you can - any font and any colour you can think of.

Yes you will!

We will communicate with you throughout the process, producing and amending your mock-up until you are happy to proceed.

Your mock-up will be produced within 1-3 working days. Once the mock-up has been finalised, we aim to build and send out your set within 5-7 working days.

Yes we do - we ship all over the world!

Depending on where you live, shipping will take the following time:

UK (1-3 working days)

EU (5-7 working days)

International (10-14 working days)

Most of our orders are tracked so we always recommend tracking your parcel using your tracking number via the Royal Mail Website.

Yes we do, however, we do not accept returns on any custom design orders.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days to notify that you would like a refund, and 30 days to send us back your items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@kromekeycaps.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

As long as your keycap set hasn't been shipped, we will be happy to either refund you for the incorrect purchase or replace your order for the correct one (note - this may incur extra cost if the chosen keycaps are more than the original purchase or if it's less, we will refund you the difference).
